Karen Clark Sheard to Star in Church Girl at the Beacon Theatre
Award-winning gospel singer Karen Clark Sheard will star in Church Girl, a new musical by Angela Barrow-Dunlap that will play the Beacon Theatre Nov. 16-21.

'Blessed & Cursed' film to make debut
"Blessed & Cursed," the debut film by gospel star Deitrick Haddon, premieres at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lucky's Southfield, 2533 W. 12 Mile. The event includes a red carpet arrival of cast members, including Karen Clark Sheard, J. Moss, Kierra Sheard, Loren Dean Harper and gospel vocal trio 21:03's Jo'Rel Quinn.
