There were a lot of 70s imports. And hardly any 70s anywhere today. We had 2 Datsuns pre 1980 then. Nissan dealerships and the Toyota dealership were only a mile from me. I saw Celicas and Corollas everywhere. I saw a lot in the junkyard row later however.
